i changed the 3v motors for 6v pololu motors and surprisingly the performance was much worse so i went back to the 3v motors but i think i am over working them so i don't know how long they will...

Well i finally have it all working. still need to sort some of the cosmetics but that can be done later.

Yes but not with the software that came with it, i purchased digital radio and had it working in no time. It only cost 2USD.

Cheers. The ones in the link aren't in the uk and i was trying to avoid international shipping if possible. However using the info from the link you posted i have found a uk supplier of those pololu...

I'm finding after about 5 minutes of use of my dozer the motors in the tamiya double gearbox are getting quite hot.

Looking at the specs it seems they are 3v motors does any one know of any...

Well after this project was shelved for almost a 1 1/2 year ( it doesn't seem that long) i decided to bring it back to life.

yes i am using the esc in dual mode. it's not really a problem just wondered if there was anyway to calm the spinning down a bit if not then i'll have to be a bit lighter on the controls.

I've bought a 2x12rc controller for my bulldozer, now it seems that it can be programmed to some extent.

Now going forwards or backwards is fine but when turning its goes far to fast to the point...

well i've been quiet for a while but i have been beavering away on the dozer. i originally had a tamiya 70097 twin gear box fitted but i stripped the gears pretty quick so ive fitted a tamiya 70168...

It would be possible but due the failure of one of the controllers for the servos they will both be wired to one standard servo controller as such they will only work at the same time.

well the resistors are ordered does this trick work on all servo's I've just purchased some small servos which will hopefully be converted to screw drives to raise and lower the blade of the dozer

I am looking for a cheap controller to control a 6v mini motor. The only ones i can find are standard rc esc's but i think at the price of them they are abit overkill for the small motors i am using....
