Re: project 350

Looks cool, that paint finish is deeep. Looks like you could swim in it! I've watched videos of the 1/1 version on youtube, cool truck. What are you going to use for the headlights?

Re: Nick's 379 build

Thanks Brian for the tip, I'll be investing in a little bench grinder and buffing wheels soon.
Troy, just as soon as I finish the bodywork I'll post some more pics!
Next month I should have a bit...

Re: My Hobby Room

I like the shelves you have for displaying your locomotives and rolling stock, very very neat solution. Love the sword peterbilts, I cracked when I saw one, got myself a grey triaxle pete with the...

Re: Nick's 379 build

Thanks. I've learnt a lot about body filler and sanding. Done a lot of that. Had a few setbacks, pinholes in filler. Wasn't happy with the hood sides so chopped them out and made new panels.
Got a...

Re: My Kenworth T800

That's a nice cab, can't tell it's a modded king hauler cab, real professional job. Light buckets look good too, are they modded pmd square headlights? The lenses look familiar.

Re: My Pyscho-Billy Cadillac

Cool, so did you bring most of the parts home in your lunchbox, with the bigger parts obviously in your buddy's mobile home? Lol I love that song...

Re: My 2nd truck Pete 379 daycab

I think we have run out of superlatives for this one! That first shot from those new pics with the new rims looks like a 1/1 scale truck! That's it! I'm taking time off work, locking myself in,...

Re: IH5900i heavy haul tractor

Very unique and original build, the whole thing looks tremendous but I especially like the tag axle, very realistic. The colour sets it all off and the metal front grille is very well done too.

Re: My 2nd truck Pete 379 daycab

My first truck is the one I'm still building! Modified tamiya. Will post details of the build just as soon as I have some stuff to show.

Re: Ford F800 BigJob

Nice one Rick, looks like that body was meant to be on that chassis, wheels fit perfectly in the arches compared to the 1:1 picture. Looking forward to seeing this progress.

Re: Peterbilt#2

I don't believe it Troy! You're already building another pete and I'm not anywhere near finishing my first one! Is this a rebuild of your black one or another one to go alongside it in the fleet?

Re: Low load step deck

A lot of fine detail in this build, makes for a very authentic looking trailer. I'm a big fan of this style of flatbed. Very well thought out and executed. Wish I had even half as much talent to...

Hey Travis, great rc's, all look like they get driven hard. Love the king dump truck and also the Kenworth you're building, look forward to seeing the finished article.

New from the UK

Hi everyone, I finally found this place after the demise of another well known board we shan't mention. Good to see a lot of long standing members moved to this board and a lot of cool build threads...
