Re: Espeefan's slow motion Peterbilt Heavy Hauler build

The hours you must have spent crafting that, can't put a price on it. Great work!

Re: DX10T

The functions such as lighting and that sort of thing are operated by using the sticks in conjunction with the trim sliders of an analogue radio, so it doesn't work so well with radios that have...

Re: DX10T

It looks like a superb piece of kit, but will the tamiya mfu function with it?

Re: Found while shopping...

You should so fit a train horn to that smart car. Imagine the surprise when a noise that big comes from a car that compact!

Re: Found while shopping...

I thought it might be the iphone. It's the most popular "camera" on flickr!

Re: Better Mirrors for our Trucks

I have the very same mirrors on my build. Looks like they are available from a different website. A few guys on the board were asking me how to get them as they couldn't seem to get them from the...

Re: Found while shopping...

What a great find! Very sharp truck. Great photos, what camera did you use? Great weather for photos, the blue sky sets off the red paintwork, it really pops in those light conditions.

Re: Espeefan's slow motion Peterbilt Heavy Hauler build

Nathan, this build is the boom daddy. Those steps look great and are totally unique. I'm impatient to see the finished article.
Have you considered half counter sinking the screws? They wouldn't...

Re: Nick's 379 build

Tony, if you can engineer a bumper flip I am certain posting photos of your truck will not be too difficult!
I think there may be a tutorial somewhere here explaining how to do it. I hope you...

Re: Pete 379 dirt hauler

Another KW on the board would be great but I understand the dilemma. Peterbilt or KW, they're both bad to the bone. In an ideal world I'd have one of each!

Re: Nick's 379 build

The website has changed since I got my mirror brackets, I hadn't looked at it until now. I can't remember my German so can't really help you there. I think the best strategy would be to post a new...

Re: 2012 - Cabin Fever Photos

Great pictures! Wish I could have attended but it would have been quite a journey for me!
I can't stop staring at the last photo with the 1/1 dump truck, it looks so surreal having it there inside...

Re: is it a tipper or a hook lift truck

Waiting for Parcel Farce to deliver is always a painful experience, hope they don't slap on customs charges, I got stung the other day

Re: Nick's 379 build

Thanks Neil, not sure I have the space for one but I'll see. Certainly not the Tamiya ones, they're just too cumbersome.
Thanks Troy, hehe. It's taking me ages so far, still lots to do yet!
Thanks...

Re: Project TOP GUN..

The hydraulic box is a really nice detail, the whole truck is cool. I'd love to build a KW too, looks like you got hold of one of "those" grills, lucky man.

Re: is it a tipper or a hook lift truck

I have the same servo, probably from the same seller. Not bad for the price and it appears to have metal gears too.

Re: Nick's 379 build

Yeah forget train horns, the next thing is insanely loud turn signals!
Do you have a link to that video? All my youtube favourites are videos of trucks!

Hey Tony glad you like it. I used some...

Re: 70's Wilison Cattle Trailer

Looks great, wood is such a nice material to work with. This will make for a very interesting and original trailer! I'd be interested in seeing the old school tractor you have in mind for this too.

Re: PMed You

Good point. I've seen it used on other forums for single items for sale. But if someone does that for a thread selling multiple items that is vague and a bit silly. Doesn't cost much to put pm'd you...

Re: is it a tipper or a hook lift truck

I've got one of those low profile servos, yet to use it to see how it performs.
A hook lift would be great, not many of those around. If your budget will stretch that far, can't imagine the parts...

Re: PMed You

The "pm'd you" post can be handy as a failsafe in case the person's inbox is full or they haven't noticed the pm. That way, they are either prompted to check their pm's if for whatever reason they...

Re: Import taxes!

Oh well, we live and learn. Don't insure and then hope your parcel doesn't get lost and arrives undamaged! What a crazy mixed up world!
