Re: Toyota mini-truckin - WPL

I've been looking into some options for making 'Bowden cables' to run the racks cleanly.

The sleeve spring-a-ma-thing part is the big issue but these seem to be viable, going by other builds and...

Re: John Deere 9 Series Tracked Tractor with Planetary Steering

I really like the looks of that disk plan.

Great idea using fender washers for the coulters. makes a lot of sence, would simplify making it, and add weight.

I've never tried snake-shot for...

Re: Transmitter customizing

I thought that type of mod would be helpful for a lot of stuff we do here

Yeah, I couldn't tell if it still threw like switches or if that was just the display programming. I don't see it not...

Transmitter customizing

I ran across this video, and have been trying to track down this style of single-axis joystick pots without a springloaded center that he's replacing the switches with.

Re: Mercedes Benz 560SL convertible

It went into paint to become a Mopar color i consider "Cherokee Green" due to its use on my XJ. This can of duplicolor "Forest Green Pearl" paint had been sitting around too long. It will need...

Re: Toyota mini-truckin - WPL

Thanks man! Gotta try to keep it more exciting than just slowly driving laps while looking scale
I doubt i *ever* would have come up with doing any of this to a truck on my own, but stealing...

Re: 1970s Dodge Tradesman kustom van

Yeah, I really do need to get my computer rolling and start trying to learn CAD. Heck, I'm still trying to learn good physical modeling skills.

Since you mentioned it, back around something like...

Re: Remembering the Old Masters

Welcome back into things. Life is an interesting journey

I watched a lot of Freddies build threads while he was still over on Scale4x4. I know a few of his trucks are still being traded around...

Re: 1970s Dodge Tradesman kustom van

So uh, instead of printing and lowering a 4x4 van chassis, somebody figured out how to do a WPL d12 chassis based streetvan. That looks WAY easier.

Re: Ram Build

If you can bring in the wheel offset, or narrow the tire, it would probably help the amount of stuff rubbing up front?

Its hard to see in your pics, but if you're wanting the next step lower from...

Re: Toyota mini-truckin - WPL

For what it's worth, *I* am not even sure where this is going! I do know it's gonna be 2 seperate directions.

The fun part of the front-clip swap is that it shouldn't really work. But most real...

Re: Zil 130 Thing

That truck's already looking pretty nicely detailed!
With that condition of hood i'd be about tempted to heatgun straighten and probably dent it up, then that do that battered rusty patina thing......

Re: Toyota mini-truckin - WPL

So the C24 trucks (bed) have the Round headlight 4 block grill, and the C14 trucks (flatbed/truggy) get the Square headlight 6 block grill. They don't interchange. To tie into chassis the6 block...

Re: Ram Build

That chassis mod is looking pretty sharp. If you can't catch many threads, it might be worth adding a nut onto the top side of those spring retainer screws to help what's there last

When you said...

Re: FlySky FS-I6X - Blend for Max Forward Speed

I don't know programming on the fs-i6x, but the original fs-i6 lets you set up a switch for Normal and Sport modes. So once that's enabled and set on a switch, in Normal you can set your throttle...

Re: 1:10 M1070 and M1000 HETS

Wow! That's an awesome looking beast!

Sounds like you may need to look at some better rock crawler driveshafts?

It the trailer tire foams can hold the weight, why not just glue the tire beads?...

Re: 1:10ish scratch forklift

Sorry, i had only ment like the Toy or RC way of linking lift stages... Something like string or chain over a pulley lifts a stage as lower stage rises. I like your way of doing it, especially if you...

Re: 1:10 Land Rover Defender 4x4, mini tow rig

Sorry, it seemed neater and easier than suggesting a 'cut&shut' tire, or removing bottom sidewall and part of the rim to lower it.

It seems like those wheels might be a bit much mass for that size...

Re: 1:10 Land Rover Defender 4x4, mini tow rig

Very nice looking Series!
It might be worth it to reprint the "bonnet" with a recess to lower the spare?

I dunno about blackout windows, with a little rearranging it looks like you could get an...

Re: OpenRC tractor, 1:10, JD remix of Ebro 160D

Neat looking little tractor!

Tractors are great for being "too cramped" in there. Would your radio allow for slaving the 3 point servos together on seperate channels with a 100% +/- offsets to do...

Great looking fork!
I love the looks of that side-shift mechanism, i don't think i'd seen anybody actually make one work yet. I'm kinda suprised you make the lift stages...

Re: 1:10 10x10 "HEMTT" (actually M1074 PLS w/ M1076 trailer)
