the idea is to uniformly distribute the weight on all axles including the tractor . placement of the 5th wheel is crucial ( hence the sliding 5th wheel plate ) Here in PA ( last time I moved a permit...

Nate , you may be able to just build an extension to the gooseneck that flips down . I've seen a real 1 like that somewhere in my travels :confused:

Jeeps are for mud boogin :p Joe , A co . down hear moves a 385 cat with a triaxle tractor and a 5 axle trailer .

looks good Nate . you might want to center the 5th wheel over the 2nd rear or...
