i had a 67 mustang 289. lady pulled out in front of me and that was that.
I also had a 69 Mach 1. mine had the 428 CJ. royal maroon, blacked out hood, no shaker.

regarding the tap removal tool.the smallest my set goes to is 3mm so it most likely
wont work.

use cauction on the dimmer for a motor. the dimmer will reduce the volts going to a
motor which will slow the motor, but with electrical, volts goes down,amps go up
and you could be overamping the...

ihbuilder,
they make a tap removal tool. i have one. its has 3 prongs with a band
and it slides in the section of the tap that doesnt have any cutting bits.

i remember that it was a pain in the a@@ putting them
on the 1:1 rigs. 2 man job and if not carefull
you would strecth the aluminum.

well said ih i had a lincoln 110 which worked good. tried a miller 120 and the diffrence
was amazing. give my son the lincoln and bought the miller. gas is the only way to go

ive used all three. best for small is a mig. i have a Miller 110volt unit. came with the cart and gas and 1 spool of wire. by changing out the wire and gas you can weld aluminum,stainless, or steel....

when i did work on the 1:1 we would use a rasp file. it makes it smooth and you can shape with it. you have to cut a little big cause it takes it off fast.
