soo... i blew up 3 esc`s for my escavator (4200xl v1), :mad:
also think i may have damaged 2 more, but they work... for now.
i had a light swich short out, that burned 3 of them to death... then...

with a 4:1 reduction im loving the 3 speed, and i use all of them.
no more melting the esc when im hauling the excavator.

plastidip is great for waterproofing servos. also on a tamiya truck if u gonna run in water, dont upgrade to bearings... use original bushings.

these guys have a weird way of doing buisness...
they drop the price of their product, at the same time they "upgrade" it with a "new" and "improved" valveblock... (not even bothering to mention...

so... first they tell you it has a new 3 valve block system and they are no longer shipping the 1.5 with a 4 valve block, then they ask you where you heard about 1.5's being shipped with the 4 valve...

thats weird... not to impressed with rc4wd on this. i looked at their site and from what i can see the only thing they mention about this is that the 1.5 valveblock is now listed as an optional...

vers. 1.5 is suposed to have 4 valves... the 4th valve is mixed in on the tx so it closes when you use the boom`s and bucket, and open when youre not so the oil can circulate back into the tank....

i use rando hdz 32 hydraulic oil... you will get 4 liters for the same price as the rc4wd 0,5 liter. but i guess any decent 32 oil would do...

original motor and esc is not gonna work for that kind of setup, it could be a fire hazard on that esc i think :)

mine has a robbe 5055/45 motor and a robbe 50a esc. i think its intended for large...
