Want a source for some finer perf-metal? Look inside the door of any sh*tcanned microwave oven. Thats the only place I could find the really fine stuff. And I'm sure its steel, not aluminum...

Seeing the way you are with the average metal parts, the only thing I can see either you not being able to replicate, or not being willing to take a stab at, is the hydraulics, and any odd...

So, JDH,

After you've basically replicated it to your own machined specs, what you going to do with the original? Re-assemble it and sell it? Or re-assemble it and shelf-queen it?
