Re: Tri-axle half pipe tipper trailer

That's awesome. I always thought Reg should start building tubs for the end dump trailers too. Looks like he made one!

So I have to ask, where did you get the Hayes truck in the background? ...

Re: Cat loader help

I used to have one of those New Bright Cat wheel loaders. They were pretty awesome back in the day. If you really wanted to keep the original motors for all the functions - drive wheels and loader...

Re: 1:87 rc

The Germans were offering motorized HO scale cars and trucks before 2000, that were battery operated and ran on a roadway with a wire embedded into it. The wire attracted a magnetic steering lever...

Re: Custom build of a Kenworth C509 as autralian roadtrain

Your grille looks amazing! Did you file and sand the grille surround's inner contour after it was soldered together, or before hand? You have so much patience!

Re: 1:87 rc

That's insane. I have my hands full building what I think are smaller models, and these guys take it to a whole different level. Very cool and impressive.

Re: Motor problem, Maybe?

Grease will naturally dirty up with time. I wouldn't worry about the front axle, unless it's not running smoothly, or quietly.

So it sounds like your motor is running just fine? Remove it from...

Re: New Project!

Awesome. I get distracted a lot too, Stu, but your 3 point hitch looks right at home on the back of the tractor. RC4WD Gelande? Those scale 4x4 trucks are a lot of fun!

Re: Back at it - Cascadia Tri Axle - Triple three

That paint scheme looks great on the Cascadia. I figured you couldn't stay away. No one ever can! :D

Re: Mack R Model

Beautiful! Love the paint job. It has classic Mack written all over it. This truck turned out really nice. I would be proud, having built something like that.

Re: Heres My New Project...Cat CT660

Wow, I like the paint scheme. The cab turned out great. I like all the little detail touches. Awesome! Good luck drilling those little holes for the visor. Drilling holes that small in aluminum...

Re: What grease do you use?

White lithium grease works for everything and it's safe for plastics too. For metal gear I've switched to Mobil 1 synthetic grease. Something like you could use to pack bearings. It's just a...

Re: I need radio help please!

That's great news, Mario!

Yes, you definitely can adjust the EPA for the throttle hold channel to stop your pump from running in reverse, when you flip the toggle switch the 'off' position. Just...

Re: CASCADIA TAMIYA IN BLACK

The kit does come with decal stripes. RC Driver had a really nice review on the Cascadia and the truck featured in the article wore the same decals. Kind of nice, because they look good, and I sure...

Re: CASCADIA TAMIYA IN BLACK

Looks very scale. Tamiya did a nice job molding the cabs. They do look very real in the right setting, and I too like the addition of the air deflector on the trailer. Seems fitting to match a...

Re: Hayes HD dump truck...RCP's style

Say what? :D Shelf queen? :p Just messing with you, Reg. Actually it wouldn't be a bad idea to make a liner for the box from more aluminum sheet. Something that could be easily replaceable. I...

Re: I need radio help please!

Wow, Mario, you weren't kidding about the poor translation! I don't know what a wanton is, but I'd be pretty embarrassed about the description of how mix 5 and 6-7 work!

Anyway, I can't...

Re: i need a paint stripper not sanding this time!

You could try some Castrol Super Clean. It comes in a purple bottle and can be found at Autozone and other car parts places. I've used it to stripe chrome off plastic parts (didn't harm the...

Re: Day Cab Work Truck by Izzy

Re: Cat loader help

If you haven't had any experience at all with radio controlled models, I would suggest you buy yourself nice kit and jump right in. A Wedico Caterpillar 966G might be a steep learning curve for you...

Re: I need radio help please!

Sounds a bit confusing, Mario, especially if the channels aren't labeled as numbers. Not really knowing what mode the radio was set in for running the excavator at the beginning makes it tough too. ...
