I dont have preference on radios, i have a flysky GT3B 3-channel radio for my other crawlers and i like it...if its cheap and works just fine, im on it lol... i never thought that i6X has 10 channels...

thanks, it was a challenge at first trying to figure out how to program my 6-channel Radiolink pistol radio to do the track movement, also, it would have been better if there are 2 more channels...

thanks, just a rough estimate would be around 220 hrs for design and maybe half of that for the prints... i have used 4 spools more or less since i started this build.

Thanks, this would probably end up like a demo build, not sure of the power train being able to push dirt but when i tested it, it can pretty much climb a 30 degree incline but lets see... i can say...

Im thinking of using a 1 1/2" x 1/8" thk flat bar as blade tips, cut in sections just like the real ones, that would be the weight on the blade...

Build update for today... almost done with the blade, just waiting for blade swing cylinder to finish printing so i can fix the blade and it doesnt swing from side to side...

Thanks, took me a while to figure out the shape of the curved sides and i settled with a section of a sphere chopped off a certain distance from the center. This thing is huge and impossible to fit...

Yup, the lead shaft is not exposed... so far this has been the smallest gearmotor i could find which works great in 10th scale... not sure if there is another one smaller than this.

all parts are printed...and the nut has a slot at one end of the rod where i insert a nut... these are the complete parts of the longer cylinder...

I had to play around with the transmitter to get my settings just the way i wanted it, for the end point (EPA) of both ch 5 & 6, i think its just 20% both ways, and then i had to adjust the subtrim...

Thanks, I actually do post print processing to smoothen the edges and re drill the holes etc... the bottom of the print usually flare out on my ender 3 so i have to file it off more so when i have to...

Latest update on this build... im now designing the actuators using a small gearmotor with an M3 lead shaft at 65 rpm, this will be the actuator to tilt the rippers

At first i thought it was too slow and underpowered with a couple of 2S lipo batts, but when i changed to a 3S set, it changed dramatically.... and i think the speed kind of matches the full scale...

Did some research and found out the motors are permanent magnet motors 31ZY, might be 4000 rpm, 3mm motor shafts with screw gear installed, 12v at 65 rpm output on the gearbox shaft ... I used 2s...

This one, 12v-65rpm, quite big and heavy too. 8mm shafts and 4mm mounting screws...
well, this build will be mostly for show and for the pleasure of seeing it run, so yeah, dont really know whats...
