I think that is great but load bearing is not really the main thing when it comes to excavators.

Not yet but very possible, becauses the microcontroller under the Black painted bowl is Arduino compatible. I know that there is a voice command arduino code, I just have to figure out how to adapt...

The robot is capable of executing preprogrammed movements on command and it also can be controlled in real time with a Playstation2 controller as I did in the video.

I decided to try my hands a building a robot Hexapod which I purchased from nodna.de in Germany .
The assembly was quite straight forward but the microprocessor coding took quite some time..

Do you mean O rings installed on the piston shaft so that each shaft can not be pulled completely into the cylinder?

Also is the Thor 2 BCD speed regulator ESC good enough or do you have better...

It looks like it will have great potential but as long as that hydraulic tank is attached it one side door of the drivers cab , I feel it looks very weird and unreal.

Thanks, I must confess that I am not the maker , the original maker is in France and I bought it off him.

As regards the CTI cylinders, they can be a bit hit and miss and I can not yet figure out...

Yes, they are regular tamiya axles.
