Re: Do the MFC's have a LiPo low voltage cutoff?

not sure what the cut-off limit is, but when the voltage gets too low for the MFC to operate, it automatically starts to cycle through shut down and start-up. This is accompanied with the truck...

Re: Hitec 645 servo jitters

I've got 645's on all my trucks for steering only....they are way too high spec for the shifting or the coupler, so I use standard Futaba S3001 for those other functions. The 645's do drawing lots of...

Re: futaba am radio

definitely upgrade to 2.4.

I had trouble with both AM and FM radios - replacing servos because I thought it was 'glitching' but in the end the reception where I lived was rubbish. The 2.4 option...

Re: What esc?

I don't use ESC as you never quite get full power to the motor....I use a 2-way switch with H-bridge relay setup to get a direct connection to the battery....although a bit more complicated that a...

Re: King Hauler Mission Control

if you drive slowly, under load, or go on soft surfaces, then you will increase the level of stress on the steering......so I would recommend the metal geared servos.

If you just want to run up...

Re: King Hauler Mission Control

with MFC-01, the sounds are locked in to the servo functions so you can't really split anything out. The only think you can do is split the turn signals from the steering by having the steering servo...

Re: King Hauler Mission Control

to run a truck with basic functions and MFC-01 you need 4ch minimum. Futaba 4YF is a good choice for the novice, plug and play with no programming and it has manual trims which means calibrating MFC...

Re: J12 plug on mfc-01

Re: need help. Lost about LED's

LED brightness drops off quickly once you get below the typical rated voltage, then it won't work when you get to the minimum. So your 3V supply for 1 LED rated for 3.1V isn't enough, which is why it...

Re: single speed metal tranny question

try re-calibrating the MFU?

although the change of tranny should have no impact on the MFU/ motor function.

One thing to note though - the MFU changes the power to the motor depending on which...

Re: help please !

with a decent truck puller motor or similar, either tranny will give you bags of torque so it comes down to your preferred speed in top gear and how you plan your AWD conversion. Transfer box after...
