if the tamiya Mfc does not have enough aux ports ( for LEDs ) you can get an ob1 unit for just the main unit (vs3.1) this is a better price.

I have similar beacons. They are wired of ch 5 on receiver unit. My beacons requires the 3rd wire in wiring harness, this is how the transmitter tells the beacons how to respond. A 2 wire set up...
