well here it is all painted and finished apart
from a new bumper and tamiya rims for the drive,
emblems and signwriting.

i locked my front diff like that and broke the carrier for the spider gears
the shaft actually came out of the diff casing!
so now it is really locked with 6 gears instead of 3.

the reduction unit i used is also cheap.
but it has metal gears and bearings
so can take a lot of abuse.
cost $30aus.

in my king i have a 2.5-1 reduction with a 17 tooth pinion.
nice and slow in 1st,
bit faster than walking pace in 2nd
and highway speed in 3rd:D
but also has heaps of grunt.
like this much....

the old cab is going on a new chassis.
headlights been cut out and smoothed.
bunk has been cutoff and lowered
to same roof height as cab....

working on making a king into a pete.
stretched out about 4 inches longer
going to paint into my bosses colours
white with blue pinstripes and blue chassis.

my kinghauler before i changed cab with another
off kinghauler bought off ebay. changed because
the paint was too good to cut up.
