Looks great! I apologize if you already posted this but I'm curious: where did you find the wires that you used from the truck to the trailer? They look really nice!

New Pickup

I traded in my 2014 Corvette for this 2017 Ford Raptor. It has over 13" of suspension travel, 35" tires and a twin turbo V6 putting out 450hp and 510ft/lb. I will miss my vette but this thing is a...

Re: Tow Cables

I have though of making some slings from braided steel leader material (steel braided fishing line). You can get the barrel crimps as well and they should look fairly scale. I have some 100lb test...

Re: My Carson 634

I don't know of a better way, it's always a pain in the a**. I suppose you could drift out the idler pin to take the tension off the idler as well.

Re: What vertical mill to buy?

Let me preface by saying: I am not a professional machinist or anything. I agree that you should buy the largest machine you can afford/handle. I'm pretty sure even a 3 phase machine can be converted...

Re: Smoke systems?

I have thought of experimenting with an electronic cigarette and some kind of a fan. They have some called "drippers", very simple and put out a lot of vapor. The liquid for the ecig can be...

Re: Track Loader or Wheel Loader

I have the LR 634 and live in a sandy coastal region so the tracks work well for me. It does not get stuck. As for the work required to build the kit, for me it's half the fun!
