If you couldn´t find any suitable cylinders there´s always a possibility to make them, I couldn´t find matching so had to do by my self.

Pugs, as promissed, more pictures from build of 463. Built this when I had one of numerous stops in the D8 build, but this was quite easy done during 4 weekends. Opposite D8 all metal was cut by hand...

Finaly it was time to start paint some parts. The frame had to be painted before any assembly can be done. At same time I painted other parts that was ready. Well not realy ready,...

The radio is a Multiplex Royal Pro 9 channels (7-9-12 available) and is a 2,4 Ghz with full telemetry. There´s possibility to store individual settings for 20 different models.

Got 2 negative answers today, the crome company want a $100 to crome the front part of the 2 track cylinders and Hahn distributor offered me...

I think that most of us using those types of machinery have either access at work or contact a local company. I have had a couple different companies heling me ($$) depending on what type (thickness)...

I have used laser as much as possible (unless I couldn´t make drawings) on my D8r and I think it´s very accurate. i do a lot of tabs and holes to fix parts together and normaly I only have to use...

This model was on display at Liebherr booth last spring at bauma fair.
There where no sign saying scale or who built it. I guess that scale is at least 1:25, maybee larger. Enjoy!...

Thx Steve and Henry, the model will be around 500lbs when ready, yes it´s a big model, the blade cylinders are 1 fot long!
Have finaly got the track recoil finalized, have new 55mm (~2") diameter...

Very nice tracks, was parts laser cut? How did you manage to have all parts lined up while brazing? I had to spotweld my parts together before they where brazed in owen.

Update on blade cylinders. Finaly got those almost done, all machine work is ready, now it´s to braze everything together. The piston side is treaded (thanks Toni for the help), the parts hanging in...

Nice looking 777. Don´t know if Cat has standard size of railings, but on the D8 all are 1" tubing.
