I recently finished my Knight Hauler. I used some electronics I had laying around the shop. Transmitter is a E-flite (Spektrum) LP5DSM from a Blade CX2 helicopter; receiver is a Spektrum AR6100E. A Mtroniks Viper Marine 25 ESC controls the motor. Patriot Hobby (PHU 3549) high torque metal gear ball bearing servos handle the steering and shifting with the following 6V specs: 221.4 oz-in of torque; 0.16 sec/60 degree travel speed; weight of 1.98 oz; and 25 tooth spline. RC-Lights #5014 light kit. The light kit comes standard with 5mm LEDs; I added some 3mm white, amber and red LEDs to fit the various holes. The roof lights are wired into LH2/RH2 (left/right head light 2); 3 lights to LH2 and 2 lights to RH2. The front turn signal leads (LTF/RTF) are made up as a y-harness so the front turn signal and the light on the side air inlets are linked together. I did have to add about 6" of wire for the tail lights.
