It appears this thread has gone unanswered, so I'll say this, I got cells from dealexstream. com.
2400MAH, 3.7volts, both had built in low voltage protection. I might get flamed for this, but I quickly soldered 2 of them together in series and have a 7.4 volt "Pack" that is about the size of a small cell phone. I believe they are 18650 type cells. Never had a problem
