Default Re: 1:14 BMG C308 Excavator improvements

Redid the electrical with tiny ESC's for everything brushed. Under cabin is kind of tidy, everywhere else is a mess. Need to move the receiver to next to the valvle block. Some wires rub the pump motor. Printed a sleeve to keep the battery off the pump motor. Slew motor was replaced with a tried and true, but a little glitch remains in the slew. Might be the pump ESC since I unwrapped it and swapped all the wires. Maybe a sloppy soldering job? Or the magnet's ESC doesn't like the inductive load. Tried the usual twist wires, add capacitors. It's subtle now. Pump revs slight when slewing left.

Built the remaining hard lines. The 2mm copper solder fittings were really nice so I ordered 50 more. Now the stick has brass tube for the swivel lines. Electrical wire run through the others for the electromagnet.

Test runs showed the boom was kind of weak, so I increased the bore diameter a couple mm. Much better and smoother with less radio tweaking, but now the stick cylinder is a little jumpy in comparison. May upsize both to be able to lower the system pressure and get the system smoother. May have parts on hand already.

Ran for quite a while straight through with no issues. At least 90minutes, probably closer to 2 hours. 10.5 V remaining on 3S LiIon. Nice runtime. Pump was warm to the touch with ~500 rpm idle and never exceeds 3k rpm.
