Default Re: Tires / Wheels advice needed

Your problem is RC4WD made the rings to wide for the rims in the new batch of rims. You have three options here try and get a new set of rings from RC"I screwed up again"4WD or get someone with a lathe to trim the ones you have down or figure out how to trim them down your self.

RC4WD's excuse was that they made the rings wider to actually be a bead lock and lock their tires on the rims but the problem is their tires wont work with them either. Izzy here on the board just bought a set and had the same problem with his using RC4WD's tires.

I have a set of the first run batch which they kept harping on the idea that the rims were bead locks and they wont lock any brand of tire for the semi trucks to the rim. So the went from not locking at all to not being able to get the tires on.

The good part is they are nice rims and a good idea, the bad part is they obviously did no testing of either batch of rims for fitment of the tires.
