Default Re: Radio DX7 vs DX8 or suggestions

Most servos should fit the Receiver. Now for the radio if you have the extra $ i would go with the DX8 vs the DX7, there are far more options and features that the DX8 outweighs the 7 in my opinion. The DX8 has a few 3 pos switches, and a 25 model memory so you can grow your fleet (and that will happen) with one radio! I started on the DX5e and that worked great but i needed more features fast and went with the DX8 and im glad i did i love it!! You can still run 4,6,8 channel receivers as long as they are air not ground. Most my stuff runs 6channel recievers and they work well with the MFU's.

Now if the truck came with servos already in them then you should be able to just plug them in. if that little tab is in the way take a razor and cut the tab off.

Hope this helps! Trust me in the long run you will be happier with the 8. Or you may be like me and 6 months later wishing you did and have to spend more money!!
