Default Re: wanting r/c construction equipment

RC4WD is not a high priced site for RC construction equipment. Their excavator is about the lowest priced unit out there for what you are getting. While $3000 is not cheap by any means, it is way less than you will pay for any other unit that you only need to add batteries and a charger. Look at any of the other manufacturors and you will find an unbuilt model selling for over $6000 that needs completed plus a radio among other things.

I have been in this hobby for over 6 years and am now just getting into the construction equipment. Just remember, this hobby is like most, you get what you pay for. Cheap price normally means a cheap piece of equipment that will require lots of work to keep it running. Save your money and get the best you can afford. If this means getting a converted Bruder, so be it. Just don't complain about it not doing what anothers' vehicle will do that costs many times what yours does. Those are just the facts about this hobby.

Best thing I would suggest is to start small and save up until you can get what you want.
