This will be a labour of love for sure. My plan is to keep as much original as possible. The paint is still in great shape. The deck needs cleaning and then a new coat. The way I see it, this is still my dads boat and I don't want to change anything....except a servo powered rudder of course
The challenge will be replacing the broken wooden bow section and all the railings!
I think my dad used sewing needles or pins as the vertical posts and then lead soldered the wire to all of them
I will definitely be posting a thread in the boats section once I get started on this one . Thanks for the pics of the 1:1 and any comments, suggestions.
