If only you knew Skeeter! LOL!!!!!!!!! Only TC1 knows what all lurks in these walls!

Actually Izzy we had to wait till this weekend due to weather but, the wife and I went up to the Kalamazoo Air Museum! AWESOME place, great variety on display and it was "open cockpit Saturday." Spent an hour or so in the cockpit of a WWII Stearman trainer. Very cool! We've been there several times. This trip added the PT17 to my list of cockpit check outs. Other ones were an AT6 , T28 and a Grumman Mallard. Depending on the guide you get it's really cool. I've had the same guy almost every time and he gives me the full check out. Instrument locations, check lists, preflight, everything but the blindfold! It's a blast! Almost got in a P47 but my dang hip couldn't make the swing to get over the cockpit rail! That's one big ship if you've never been close to one.
Almost forgot, they have the largest selection of Grumman "Cats" in one location. Wildcat, Hellcat, Tomcat on display and they also have a Bearcat and a Tigercat getting ready for display. Almost every aircraft except the jets are restored flyable!
