Hi bigford you raise a good point. I haven't actually driven it outside yet, only inside in a tiny space about 3x the size of the truck. Perhaps I'll try out without the spring first and see.

Thanks flatdeck. It took me a while but then i finally got what you meant ha! So they just wedge in there then? I guess the fenders aren't exactly the heaviest of things in the world.

Also in the dx6i manual there are instructions for changing a mod 1 to a mod 2 and vise versa so you can have the spring stick on the side you prefer when you go into the program settings

Thanks Tracy. I will try it without the spring in first when I finally drive the truck outside once all the mods are done and the trailer built. I just had a reply from horizon hobby who distribute that radio in the UK and they said they can send me the kit for about £7.
