I did adjust the gib screws as you suggested I got them just a tiny bit too tight. I should clean and lube it and see how it goes.
I cant believe I have gotten by without this thing for all these years! I do sort of miss watching stuff spin around on the end of the drill bit though!
I love using the drill press now! I could NEVER have done the conversion on the little crane without it!
