Weight of an excavator is what allows it to dig a bigger hole and lift heavy objects, (which translates to powerful I think). Fortunately hydraulic pumps are not the bottle neck for our scale models. Main difference between the various pump manufactures are how quiet and efficient they run, and of course volume flow.
The heaviest to date is mother earth pc700 (91 lbs) , second would be Vario. Hope that answers.
