Of course wouldn't hurt to let them know "mostly" tamiya trucks would be run. Back in the earyly 2000's they used to run a "tamiyacon" in their area where my tank club ran demo's till they said they didn't want to deal with dumping a pile of dirt anymore.
Not sure if they still run that event but would't hurt to pick up the phone and rattle some heads.
