Your Dad's locomotive is made by a company called Aster in Japan. This one is a full live steamer and burns Butane for fuel. It is a 1/32 scale model and it will run on any G scale gauge 1 track. They are now a very coveted locomotive and sell for very big money. It also looks like the factory display case too and the loco looks to be in pristine condition.
