The big difficulty when making these is the lack of scale drawings
I first get a 1:50 scale die cast model of the object, with that you can get some measurement.
The machine brochure usually have some dimension drawings.
One place to look is also this:
https://avspare.com/, there you can get some idea of the parts.
Drawing a part that is more complex often takes more time than actual machining. The following parts assembly I was drawing many, many, hours
