It's been awhile but I just started doing some maintenance on the black Pete today. I looked back in this thread and it was March 2013 when the cab was dropped on the truck one last time and done. Has not been off till now. Almost like opening up a time capsule of sorts.
I look at my wiring nightmare, I see what I did then and I think about how I would do it now. Amazing how much we learn and change from the early days in the hobby
No issues, just want to inspect the tranny, gru and axles. I was new at this when I built it, all I used was the tamiya grease that came in the kits so it's time to re grease!
Also gives me the chance to add the new front bumper mount to bring the bumper back like the one in my dump truck.
Lots of miles on it, the wife and I walked our neighbourhood countless times , RC shows, backyard fun and all looks good !
