Re: Heavy Haul 8x8
Ordered a list of parts for the build. going with 1.9 mill speck tires, punisher drive shafts and bead lock steal wheels. Also going with a 2:1 transfer case, and full metal trans gears.

Re: Heavy Haul 8x8
Got a bunch of parts in the past few days, so i have benn busy building spring hangers and body parts on the plastic printer. hear are some photos of the progress. My first time doing plastic body work on rc body. Also printing side steps to fill the gap between the front fenders. had a little spare time at work so i worked on building a dump box.

Re: Heavy Haul 8x8
The 3d printed steps turned out nice. needed to widen the front fenders a little so that they would be the same width as the rear fenders. so a set of fender flares did the trick, along with a little body work and primer. Still debating what color I want to paint it.
Now just waiting for the parts i ordered for the dump bed to show up. |

Nice job! It's a good size truck and should get around very well.

Nice truck, what rims have you used? I think you use tires 30mm.

Re: Heavy Haul 8x8
I was able to do a lot of work on the truck over the holiday weekend. paint work done and the ride is almost complete and ready for its first load of pay dirt. Just have to finish adding a set of shocks to the rear tandems and i also ordered a matching set of marker lights to add to the front rear fenders.
still debating on adding a set of mud flaps or fenders on the rear tandems. |

Re: Heavy Haul 8x8
If you are wondering why the paw prints it is because the only way i could tackle this build is if i built it for my wife, she happens to be a Vet Tech. I just hope she will let me play with it too. But if not i have an Excavator i am building for myself so i can at least load it. I will start a build post for it soon. I will upload some videos of the truck soon.
