Greetings from an Aussie

Hey all

Thought i'd introduce myself. Names Bob, live in Perth, Western Australia. Have been into RC in one form or another since i was a kid. Mostly offroad, raced competitively in state and nationals, but got a bit sick of the politics with clubs and state bodies and all that rules rubbish. I lost the fun from it.

I've also made a lot of plastic model kits over the years, but had never really combined the 2. Then i saw some of the amazing truck builds here and at scale4x4rc, and was hooked. Was reading for months looking for inspiration then saw someone mentioned building a Transformers movie version Optimus Prime rig, and i instantly thought **** YES.

Ordered up a King Hauler and started work. Still a work in progress. I thought "it'll keep me occupied for a couple of weeks"... 3 months later and the money-sink is still going.
