MFC Speaker Placement on The Grand Hauler
Hello Fellas,
I'm in the process of adding the speaker on my Grand hauler. I want to keep the seats and interior in place so it cant go there. I was wondering where do most members (you)put/add their/your speaker? Any help or insight would greatly be a appreciated Thanks Terry |

Re: MFC Speaker Placement on The Grand Hauler
I've placed speakers in two different places in my trucks. In my day cab I used a smaller speaker and place it in the front grill above the servo's, and in the sleeper of my ford-max.
in both cases I did not use the speaker box that Tamiya provides with the MFU kit. It saved me a lot of space, though its not as loud. Believe me its plenty loud without the box that's provided. So don't be afraid not to use it. http:// Last edited by mcl fabrication; 05-10-2016 at 11:03 AM. |

Re: MFC Speaker Placement on The Grand Hauler
In my King Hauler, I just drilled 4 holes into the back hatch door and mounted the speaker to the inside of it (without the speaker box). The speaker sits above the battery and the wires are long enough to allow me to set the hatch door onto the 5th wheel plate when I'm changing batteries.
