Talking Pete 357 tri-axle dump Finally done!! 1/1/12

Well I gathered up a few parts with help from a few guys from the board to get my next build underway! This truck is a tribute to the Peterbilt that I owned for 5 years. Here is what I got done with the cab I extended the cowl and changed the angle of the windshield. I also got some mods done to the hood and started working on the fenders. Enjoy! Thanks for looking!
Brian

Its gonna be awesome Brian!

The front tires look taller than the rears on the 1:1 is that just an illusion?

Thanks guys! Scott, yeah its an illusion, The front tires are actually the same height as the drives, but they are 22.5 and drives are 24.5 the sidewalls are thicker on the fronts. This probably helps with this illusion. Thanks!

Man,Your do'in some butchin on that cab.Your a lot braver than me!
That's gunna be a sweet lookin truck when your done, cause the 1:1 sure is.
In the 5 years you owned that truck, you didn't by any chance keep a record of what you spent in wax & armor-all?

Brian, I have a feeling this will be your best build yet, given your incredible track record already. Are you going to paint it to match your old 1:1 or will the cab be yellow, like your other models? Three trucks for you, and I to am still stuck on my 1st.

Thanks Nathan! This truck will be green, not my trademark yellow.

Brian, the cab and hood look great, as do your fenders! I can pretty much sum up your work using the old Peterbilt ad's saying 'touch of class'. Looking really good!
