my Kenworth and 48' trailer(pictures)
finally getting my two year old project wrapped up
-got these off of ebay about 2 1/2 years ago, look preety good to me -i sandblasted and painted the front brake drum and bolts to look more scale -mounted up i still have to paint the nut black |

-i assembled the truck shocks and trailer shocks, taped them off sandblasted them, primed um up and painted them to look like Monroe shocks
-rear shock mounted -front shock |

nice find on evil bay. nice rims i like them alot i want some like that but i would try to find real bolts to replace the allen screws yeah the shocks look much better than pink now hehehe

Looking good so far. I am going to paint my shocks yellow on my Scania to. Can we say Monro???

The truck is looking nice, I've beenn thinking about painting my shocks to look like monre shocks, then ive been searching some rc Scaler sites to find some 4x4 decal sheets with monre shock decals. No luck so far.

and now the STRETCH! i got a deal on Joes Truck shop frame (that i used) and a freedy built frame that im gonna sell. This was the first time i tapped something smaller than 10MM before and it was easy actually. not one screw up luckly!

i just bought a Bruder dump truck on a rolling king hauler chassis for my 5 year old son and the guy had this rear frame drop on the dump? I suppose its on another tamiya tractor i dont know. But i had to have it! I cut the frameabout a inch off and used the rear shock hole to hold it on with a self tapping tamiya screw. luckly the holes lined up perfect for this mod.

and the big ol' girl with the scale 48' flat bed. ill post picturesof the trailerwhen i get the truck completed in a few days.
