Re: bigfords trucks
dump truck has hydraulics !!!!! waiting on the esc's to power everything
the esc for the pump will be the second esc, do I remove the red servo wire and leave the motor esc alone?? never delt with two esc's for one truck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoGFms4SAyE |

Re: bigfords trucks
If both are being used on the same RX then one of them needs to have the red wire pulled. I would recommend using whatever ESC has the better BEC to power the RX and servo and pull the wire on the other one.

Re: bigfords trucks
Then if they are the same just take a red wire out of one of them then. Doesn't really matter which one.

Re: bigfords trucks
ok so both esc are in! Now can I buy a y-harness with two Tamiya female ends
and one male end to join both esc to one battery?? |

Re: bigfords trucks
Yes you can. But depending on how much current is being pulled I would suggest ditching the Tamiya connector for a better quality.

Re: bigfords trucks
That looks great so far
Is it going to have a drop axle like the 1:1 or are you mostly after the paint scheme? I think she will need a set of Steves killer pete ovals for wheels. Ok. Just watched the vids. I love the actual working hyd versus the screw drive set ups. And that answers my drop axle question.... Got no more room for more gizmos right? Lol Last edited by Supermario; 02-09-2015 at 04:22 PM. |

Re: bigfords trucks
the hydro tank could be located under the pass door and the ums pump
could go somewhere else to fit a drop axle. for now the passenger tank holds the oil and the driver tank has the pump |
