Default Re: New King Hauler Project

Hi all, spent most of the weekend installing new parts, here are the results...

Made a pig's ear of the rear fenders the photos don't really show but the tyres are too close and were touching the brackets so had to bend them out in all sorts of directions. They rub a bit when driving over bumps but I think I can live with it.

Also had to move the steps forwards slightly as the pipes would not clear. Probably the most rewarding thing was tidying the wiring!

So a request for opinions, I want to cover the exposed frame rail and replace the little plastic switch plate, but am undecided what to do. I wanted to cover the whole thing with tread plate but am now thinking just a plain semi gloss black sheet might look pretty cool. What do you think?

Also not sure what to do with the back end. The original bumper just doesn't look right, and I am sure the frame rails seem longer than on some modded trucks? Do people cut these short, and does anyone have any pictures of what might look good here?

Thanks for looking!
