BB's in your tractor tires may help your traction problems somewhat. The caliber air rifle metal BB I showed a picture of in another thread is 4.5mm. If you could find a smaller caliber, that would be better as you could pack more in to get more weight & tighter pack.

I went to the local hunting/fishing/shooting shop the other day but all they had were the plastic ones, so I got to thinking what else I could use and remembered that I had some steel shot blasting grit.

So I've filled the tyres with the grit and its added 5Kg in weight

Total tractor weight is now 10.2Kg, not sure if thats overkill and whether or not it will harm the gearmotors/speed control or affect its pulling capacity and or battery run-time.

Waiting for it to stop raining now so I can give it a go.
