Yeah, I know Paul, I'm a perfectionist! It gets the better of me all the time. Thanks for the info on the axles. I always thought they were pretty durable. After all, Joe has run them for years, hauling dirt out of his basement, with no real failures. I think he might have worn out some gears, but they never failed to the point of breaking. This is all good info. Sounds like I shouldn't have to worry to much. I just know there will be a ton of torque on the axles and diffs, in my tractor, and I'm making it as heavy as I can. Guess if there is a problem, I'll find out! Good to know there are some hardened gears out there too.
