I used a chrome spray paint on a steel front bumper for a Tamiya high lift.
It doesn't do a good finish for me. It remains soft for quite some time. My fingerprints are on the bumper from me touching 24 hrs after. It also rubs off.

I'll keep using it to touch up scratches and stuff, but if I were to do again, I'd paint the bumper black.

With that being said, one person posted and it seem to work OK for them. I may have put on to thick a coat.
