Hi Travis
I can't answer those questions as I don't parallel charge, but I will test it out and see how it works. I found I don't need too as I can charge most batteries in 20mins I have a power supply connected to it as well http://www.revolectrix.com/support_docs/item_1380.pdf have a look at that it may answer some of your questions
