Well after seeing Freddy build his Ford I just had to buckle down and start on mine. I of course started the same way with a bone stock push toy that was new and started butching from there. I've put a couple of evening into it so far and have several more to come to get it going but here are a few pics of my start.
![]() ![]() Crawler transmission installed. Hopefully this will have enough torque in the gearing along with the 9 tooth pinion to pull this hog. ![]() Steering knuckle made up and mounted. ![]() ![]() Bottom view. All the screws will be tapered and flush mount and stainless when they come in from McMaster this week. ![]() My version to get as much axle and driveshaft clearance resulted in machining a custom joint to clear the servo flush under the arm and still twist under the axle. ![]() Thats all for the moment but I hope to have more progress pics of this up soon.
