The cylinders on a dump bed do not have to suspend the entire weight of what's in the bed - a portion is supported at the bed pins and load just pivots around them. Depends on attachment point of the cylinders relative to the bed pivot pins, bed overhang at the rear, center of mass of actual load, etc.

These cylinders might well do the job, but many variables have to be considered to make that determination.
