What tanks you gonna run? just an idea BUT even if you get custom tanks from like Russ or Steve have them not glue the caps on drill 2 holes on back side twards frame. Find 2 smaller 1600 MAH batteries then cut plugs off, send wires thru holes then up to the cab where they connect together to make 1 3200mah battery that has a switch... then go even farther do like I did on the globe get 3 position switch battery in middle charge lead on one side and truck power on other side... flip right (or left) and bypass truck and just charge batteries, flip other way and drive away. it'll save you some room in that cab.. Just an idea.
you could even put esc or receiver in your step boxes depending on which ones you use too. if you look at the blue dump travis used aeromax tanks I think maybe they are knight hauler and glued the batteries under it.

I was planning on using the stock tanks but now that you mention it, that's a great idea for freeing up some cab space. The ESC's are small. ( same as the ones in my loader as a matter of fact ) I think it would be money well spent to buy some custom tanks. Thanks!

I'm on the rc4wd site right now. Going to pull the trigger and order this light system. It's small and has some decent options and cheap to buy.

I think the charge port is a great idea to minimize opening the truck all the time but when you want to play for more than a charge cycle it's nice to throw a fresh one in, throw the old on charge and keep on trucking!
