Hello Dave, welcome to our forum.
 You're talking about this 1/25th scale kit? http://www.revell.com/germany/trucks/80-7522.html If so, then well... you've bought the wrong kit to start in this radio controlled hobby. Although I'm pretty sure there have been more than a few that have made the conversion in 25th, our primary scale in this forum is 14th and mainly Tamiya models.
