If you don't mind show me where you are welding the side stakes. Are you mig or tig welding? I'm like a sponge when it comes to you guys building stuff, only problem is whatever I soak up my wife wrings right out!!!!

Hey I can't share all of my secrets or no one will hire me to build stuff!

Just kidding... The uprights are just held in place by their machined fit(see pic). Depending on what Keith decides on for a finish, they will either be glued or JB welded just to make sure they can't come out. I welded the tailgate together but I thought there would be more chance of things moving around there. I use TIG for all of this stuff. My MIG welder is too big for thin material.


Today's update...

It's pretty much all over but the crying now! I will be the one crying as I am really wishing I had built two of these and kept one. Everything is wired up and has been put through it's paces. I just need to follows Keith's next instructions for the type of finish and go from there.
