Yes, the Cat 789C is my conversion. Still not up and running as I've had trouble finding the right seals for the hydraulic cylinder I built for it. If go to this link you can down load the manual for the truck and that will help figure out how to get the box working. I believe that Joe still uses the original lift system in his and has very little problems with it and it can lift a full box. If your talking about the plastic sliders on the box being broken they're probably not as there open in the middle so you can get the box on and off the truck. The build manual will show how it works.
