The springs are made using old lawn rakes. The fingers on the rakes are slightly wider than a stock Tamiya spring but work really well for 1/14 scale. I have to heat the ends to roll eyes into them but it's not too bad if you build a jig.

Just took another look at this build....and have to say you have done an outstanding job, nice very nice!!!
Any plans or time for another 1/10 scale build in the near future?? |

Thanks KP. At this point I have no plans to build anything for myself in any scale. I would like to build a dozer in 1/10 but that seems less and less likely all of the time. When RCP's is busy I am basically on the computer answering messages or in the shop from the time I get up until the time I go to bed. When it's not busy I either don't have the extra money for a personal project or I honestly just want to GTFO of the shop and do something outside.lol Maybe sometime in the future things will change but for now that's reality. It isn't so bad building stuff for other people and having it go away. I get my build fix and don't have to store the finished product!
