If you can get your hands on a copy of Working in the woods, there is one picture end one page of detail about the trucks. Said the first one cost $50,000, and was built by Barney Oldfield. Wasn't he a famous racer.

Default Re: Looking for info on an Old Butler Bros Truck

Well we found a set of working drawings for the truck and my dad had them scaled to 1"=1'. Working off actual size plans looks like it should be fairly straight forward. Now comes the fun part. Trying to scavange parts to make it operational.
This time we are going Radio Control instead of tethered.
